Year 2
In Year 2 we love learning new things!
Here are a few things parents and families need to know about supporting your child at home:
- Book bags are sent home on Fridays and should be returned by the following Wednesday or Thursday. Inside there will be a reading book, a phonics book, some homework and spellings.
- Please spend a few minutes every day listening to your child read. You can also help your child at home by working together on their homework.
- At the moment, we are not asking children to bring in PE kits, but they will need to wear them to school on PE day.
- We love to reward children for their good behaviour and hard work at school and at home! We do this by giving out 'Dojos'.
Children who return their completed homework can earn an extra Dojo!
